We are thrilled to have Sam Brinton, Head of Advocacy and Government Affairs at the Trevor Project, as our keynote speaker!
Sam is one of the world’s leading advocates for LGBTQ youth. They are the founder of the 50 Bills 50 States campaign at The Trevor Project to end the dangerous and discredited practice of conversion therapy, first in the United States and then around the globe. As a survivor of conversion therapy, Sam has spearheaded efforts to further legislation and promote public education in the hopes of ending this dangerous practice.
Sam uses they, them, or theirs as their pronouns as a genderfluid person.
We are honored and excited to have Emmy Award winning actor, vocalist, arts educator and community organizer, T. Mychael Rambo, be our emcee.
Nationally and internationally his stage credits include Carnegie Hall and performances abroad in Africa, Europe and South America. He has appeared in local and national television commercials, feature films HBO mini-series, and other television programming. T. Mychael is an accomplished residency artist and an affiliate professor in the College of Liberal Arts, Theatre Arts and Dance at the University of Minnesota.
